Dean L. Mossburg

Dean Louis Mossburg, 59, of Fort Wayne, Indiana had his last breath taken by COVID at Parkview North Hospital on Saturday, October 9, 2021. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Donald and Helen Mossburg. A graduate of South Side High School, Dean went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University. He worked as Meter Specialist for Indiana Michigan Power Company for many years. For the last two years he was teaching English in Vietnam. During lockdown in Vietnam, he taught English to children within his building for free. Dean was very active. He had a love for traveling, kayaking, and attending concerts with his nephew. He could always be found capturing his biking adventures with his GoPro to share with family and friends. A kindhearted man, he was always there to help those in need. Surviving Dean is a companion Han Vo, of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a brother Ronald Mossburg, husband of Becky (Stehman) of Manheim, PA, a nephew Jason Mossburg, fiancée of Jennie Singer of Burnie, MD and many cousins that he was close to within the area. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sarah (Mossburg) Blazer. Special thanks to his cousin Dian Steffen for being by his side during his final hours and his care team at Parkview North Hospital.
