

Donald R. Wolf, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Towne House Care Center, Fort Wayne. Don was born in Fort Wayne to the late Erwin & Flora Wolf. He was graduated from Northside High School and IU Bloomington School of Business. He proudly served his country as Staff Sergeant in the US Army during World War II. He married Betty (Jones) Wolf of Indianapolis and together they raised four children. Don was Vice-President and board member at Wolf Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN. Don was a life-long member of Trinity English Lutheran Church where he served as council member and usher. He was an active Fort Wayne Lions Club member and Churubusco Rotarian. He was also an active SCORE advisor. Interests included domestic and world travel especially to mountainous regions where he enjoyed hiking and backpacking. He enjoyed swimming, classical music and current events. Don is survived by his wife Betty, brother Dick (Jo) Wolf of Columbia City, sons Larry (Barb) Wolf of Avilla, Steve (Jeannine) Wolf of Loudon, TN, daughters Linda (Ken) Pendleton of Indianapolis, Jenny (Harvey) Gist of Novi. Michigan. Don is also survived by his grandchildren Doug (Brynn) Wolf of Morristown. TN, Jeff (Debbie) and great-grandson Ryan Gist of Livonia, MI, Matt Gist of Auburn, AL, Janet (Keith) Ramick, of Overland Park, KS. Funeral services will be held Tues. 11 A.M. Jan 13, 2015 Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Wayne St. Chapel where friends may call Mon. 3 P.M. – 7 P.M. and 1 hour prior to the services on Tues. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Trinity English Lutheran Church, Mayo Clinic, or St. Mary’s Food Pantry.
