Donna Jovevski

September 2, 1931 – June 22, 2025.

Donna Jovevski, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 2, 1931, in Krani, Resen, Macedonia. Donna was a woman of deep devotion, enduring strength, and quiet grace. In 1972, she immigrated to the United States, reuniting with her beloved husband, Radoslav, her two sons, Metodija and Vlade, and her father, Petre. Her family remained the center of her world throughout her life.

Donna found joy in life’s simple pleasures, especially in gardening. She took pride in growing peppers, which she nurtured with love and shared abundantly with others. She worked for many years at St. Joseph Hospital, where she was known for her diligence and warmth in the salad and dessert departments. A devoted member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Donna’s faith was an anchor in her life, and she was a cherished member of her church community.

Donna’s legacy is one of kindness, strength, and generosity. Her gentle spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Metodija (Cheryl) Jovevski and Vlade (Anica) Jovevski; her grandchildren, Nickoline (Jason) Langston, Pete (Nga) Jovevski, Julie (Andy) Knuth, Tony (Gaby) Jovevski, and Natalie (Adam) Couch; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin, Preston, Kayla, Lydia, Elijah, Savannah, Greyson, and Amelia. She is also survived by her sister, Zivka Arman.

Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Radoslav; her daughter, Parskeva; her parents, Petre and Nickolina Saldarovski; and her sister, Slavka Trajovski.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Zivka Arman, Violeta Dreyfus, Jaklina Bolender, and the team at Heartland Hospice Care for their love, care, and support throughout Donna’s final days.

The funeral will be 10:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church, 3535 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior, with Father Andrew Jarmus, officiating. There will also be a visitation from 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday June 26, 2025, with a Trisagion service at 6:00 pm. at D.O. McComb and Sons, Covington Knolls - Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN.

Committal and burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
