Doris Lavern Watson

Doris Lavern Watson, 86, passed away at home on Thursday, May 29, 2025. Doris was born on August 14, 1938, in Okolona, Arkansas. She will be missed by all so very much. Doris was an administrative secretary to the Director of Engineering Services at Magnavox, where she retired after 21 years of service in 1994. Doris lived her life with a strong faith in God and an unconditional love for her family. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time playing games with family, some of which included, Skip-Bo, Rack-O, jigsaw puzzles, and Sudoku. She also loved to cook, bake zucchini bread, and collect Beanie Babies. Doris is survived by her four children, Priscilla Feasel, David (Marlene) Watson, Carla Watson, and Timothy Watson; four grandchildren, Whitney (Brian) Dwire, Lauren (Nathan) Moellering, Daniel Watson, and Melissa Watson; and one great-grandson, Mason Watson. Doris was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph U. Watson; her parents, William Noel Wilson and Velma Ethel (Moore) Wilson; as well as four siblings. A private family entombment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials in Doris's memory may be made to Stillwater Hospice Indiana.
