Dorothy D. Neukam, 83 passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021. She was born April 1, 1938 in Mayfield, Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Jolly) Elder. Dorothy was full of energy and had a passion for working hard. She enjoyed all of the time spent with her grandchildren. Dorothy was survived by her daughter, Lisa (Silvestre) Ice- Mondragon; sons, Teddy and Michael Calhoun; grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Ice, Samantha Cole, and Ashlei Calhoun; great-grandchildren, Elliot Cole and Dominick Calhoun; and brother Jerry Elder. Also preceding her in passing was her husband Otis Neukam; late husband, William Calhoun; daughter, Delores "Jeannie" Calhoun; son, Billie Calhoun; brothers, Thomas and John Elder; and sisters, Francis Bloodgood, Sue Ice, Joyce Morgan, and Edina Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral home 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Lindenwood cemetery.
