Doug Laws

Doug Laws, 66, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 5, 2026. He was born January 8, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, son to the late Herbert and Dorothy (Hall) Laws. He worked in facility maintenance, as well having operated his own plumbing company. Surviving him are his wife, Pansy Laws; daughters, Jennifer (Breh) Laws, Mary (Joshua) Humphrey, and Tonya (Edward) Mendez; grandchildren, Katelynn (Cody) Fry, Jeffery Humphrey, Edward Mendez, Logan Humphrey, Elianna Mendez, Zachory Humphrey, Ezekiel Mendez, Addisyn Laws, Freya Laws, and Kovyn Laws; great grandchildren, Grace Fry, Michael Fry, and Wyatt Fry; and sister, Tammy Laws. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Laws. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11:00 am at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
