

Edward Lee Williams, age 90, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away December 12, 2025. He was born on September 10, 1935, in Elkhart, Indiana, the son of Walter Jackson Williams, Sr. and Mary E. (Delcamp) Williams.
Ed graduated from Elkhart High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Navy for four years and earned Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business from Purdue University. He was employed as an electrical engineer at Magnavox and ITT and retired from International Harvester (Navistar) after nearly 30 years.
Ed is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marilyn, and step siblings John Williams and Sara Williams, as well as nieces Eileen Houin and Valerie Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary, his brother, Walter Jackson (Jack) Williams, and nephew, David Williams.
Ed was an avid golfer and bicyclist. He also was a gifted wood carver and created many nice pieces. Ed and Marilyn were charter members of the Blackhawk Baptist Church started in Fort Wayne by Dr. David Jeremiah, Pastor. They would later become members of Brookside Church.
Services will be 2:00 pm at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home – Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, on Sunday, December 28, 2025 with visitation starting at 1:00 p.m.
