Elisabeth Ruth Anderson

Elisabeth R. Anderson, 37, passed away March 21, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 4, 1987, in Columbia City, IN. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 2006 and earned her bachelor's degree from Indiana University Fort Wayne in 2010. Elisabeth was a personal trainer at Longevity Fitness for 11 years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed a quiet place to read and have a favorite snack of popcorn or a Reese’s Cup. Elisabeth loved everything fitness, especially going for a long run. She was passionate about her church family and her faith and loved being a wife to Zach and mother to their son, Matthew.

Elisabeth is survived by her husband, Zach Anderson and son, Matthew of Fort Wayne, IN; mother, Eva (Dale) Sellers of Claypool, IN; father, Rick (Carleen) Huff of Westfield, IN; father-in-law, David (Kandy) Anderson of Albion, IN; mother-in-law, Terri (Regan) Ford of Kendallville, IN; siblings, Rebekah (Jessie Kensell) of South Whitley, IN, Judy (Andrew Grimm) Huff of Syracuse, IN, Michael Huff of Warsaw, IN, and Whitley Huff of Indianapolis, IN; step-brother, David Hershberger of Indianapolis, IN; sister-in-law, Jessica (Steven) White of Kendallville, IN; step brother-in-law, Ryan (Jennifer) Ford of Kendallville, IN; step sister-in-laws, Clara Ford of Kendallville, IN, Satarah (Kurt) Wolford of Lenexa, KS, and Amber Shepherd of Georgetown, KY; and step brother-in-law, Robert Ford of Colorado Springs, CO.

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at The Chapel, 2505 West Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Elisabeth’s memory to the following organizations that were near to her heart: The Chapel, Fort Wayne Rescue Mission or Community Harvest Food Bank.
