Esther L. Counterman, 88, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Coventry Meadows of Fort Wayne. She was born in May 14, 1934 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Howard E. and Dorothy Fosnaugh.
Esther is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Earl “Hank” Counterman of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Celo Thompson of Fort Wayne, IN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Counterman of Decatur, IN. In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Fosnaugh and Arthur “Bud” Fosnaugh; brothers-in-law, Paul Counterman and Victor Counterman; sisters-in-law, Elaine Lough and Gloria Krick.
Private services are being held, with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Arrangements by D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue. Fort Wayne, Indiana.
