Floyd P. Affolder, 75, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Floyd worked with BF Goodrich for 32 years, retiring in 1997. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed, fishing, water sports, being at the lake, and gardening. He was very active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Bonnie Affolder of Fort Wayne; daughter, Laura K (Jerry) Ladd of Columbia City, IN; son, Paul D. Affolder of Wolcottville, IN; grandson, Troy Ladd of Fort Wayne; sister, Pamela (Arthur) Drewery of Woodburn, IN; and sister-in-law, Linda Jewett of Arcola, IN. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd George Affolder and Virginia Ruth Affolder. A celebration of Floyd's life will be Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at - D.O.
