Fred was a graduate of Payne High School in 1952. He served in the U.S Marine Corps from 1954-1957. He loved sports from playing golf, watching Ohio State, Indiana University, and Concordia High School sports. He had many friends in the dental field due to his career of service, sales and design of dental equipment and offices.
Fred is survived by his son, Bruce (Kay) Kilpatrick; a daughter, Lisa (Dave) Eichler; grandchildren, Rachel (Josh) Kilpatrick Howell, David Kilpatrick, Chase Eichler, Jared (Chelsea) Eichler and Cara Eichler; great-grandchildren, Savannah Howell, Emery Eichler, Eloise Eichler and Charleston Howell; a sister, Ruth (Gene) Morton; sister-in-laws, Lara Kilpatrick, Catherine Crandall and Rosalie Coplen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Kilpatrick; two brothers, William Kilpatrick and Phil Raab; three sisters, Esther Kilpatrick Waugh, Katherine Kilpatrick Dowding and Mary Kilpatrick Watts; brother-in-law’s, Dennis Coplen and Richard Crandall.
A visitation will be on Friday January 3, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Churubusco, Indiana.
