

Frank was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran from 1952-1954. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, American Legion # 47, V.F.W. #1421, former Chef deGare of the 40&8 Society, and a member of the Local #37. Frank was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Hitsfield, Novas, and Brooks Construction. After retirement, he drove a truck for Fisher Trucking, until he was 85.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Bernetha “Bernie” Dahman of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Terry (Marilyn) Kundysek of Scottsburg, IN; daughter, Debra (Clarence) Lee of Wolcottville, IN; son, Michael (Sue) Dahman of Swan, OH; 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son, Bobbi Kundysek; brothers, Reed and Don Dahman; and a sister, Alice Starnes.
A funeral service to honor his memory will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 15, 2022, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also take place from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the funeral home, with a 40&8 service at 7:30pm. Frank will be laid to rest at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
