

Franz Mueller, 82, died Sabbath November 28, 2025, and is Sleeping waiting for the LORD to RETURN. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. He was born on October 15, 1943, in Lintz, Austria, the son of the late Philip and Daniella Mueller.
Franz was a U.S. Army medic and served during Vietnam. He worked at International Harvester, Navistar for 41 years where he molded clay prototypes for trucks and received many honors and patents for his work.
He was a former semi-pro soccer player at the Fort Wayne Sports Club, where he also coached youth leagues and was a referee for many years.
Franz was a faithful and loving husband and father. He gave his life to the LORD on December 18, 1999.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Judy Mueller, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Tami Clements of Littleton, Colorado; his adopted son, Scot Moon of Littleton, Colorado; stepsons, Tim, Mark and Matt Smith all of Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Mercedes of Parker, Colorado, Alexis of Littleton, Colorado, Ashely of Wellington, Kansas, Tanner of Iliff, Colorado, eight step grandchildren, Jordan, Lorren, Haley, Logan, Katie, Morgan, Nathan and Ava; four great-grandchildren; his brother, Reinhold Mueller of Avilla, Indiana; niece, Beth Weimer; nephew, Jamie Mueller, grand-nieces and nephews; plus a great-grandniece.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2025, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation two hours prior. A private burial will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery.
