Gail Wade Huth

Gail W. Huth, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was the son of the late Ervin and Juanita Huth. He married his beloved wife Jenny MacLennan of Inverness, Scotland and Fort Wayne on February 15, 1958 and celebrated 65 years of marriage. Gail graduated from Central Catholic HS and Purdue Fort Wayne and become a design engineer for International Harvester and later Navistar for 44 years. He loved golfing and bowling in his later years. As a youngster, Gail was known as a hard-nosed baseball player and basketball player. He coached many teams for St. Joseph (Fort Wayne) CYO during the 60s. He loved traveling throughout the hemisphere with his wife and good friends Norval and Carol Hull and was a big supporter of Bishop Luers High School. He is survived by his wife, Jenny; son Michael, daughter Susan (Nol), sons James (Julie) and Ken (Mary); grandchildren, Lucy, Abigail, Adam, Nathan, William, Tyler and Jacob; and many cousins. And all of our extended families from Carlton Court. Visitation January 29, 2023 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral January 30, 2023 10 a.m. with visitation one hour before service at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home - Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Donations can be made to Bishop Luers High School, St. Joseph (Fort Wayne) Catholic School and Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
