Gail L. Semler, 63, of Churubusco, Ind., passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Born May 25, 1958 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Valda (Pratt) Grein. A graduate of Carroll High School, Gail had been employed with Fort Fun II, BRC Rubber and Plastics, and Mancino’s Pizza and Grinders. Gail loved listening to music; her favorite was 1980’s big hair bands such as Poison and Def Leppard and country music, especially Cole Swindell. She enjoyed action movies such as John Wick, playing cards, bonfires, road trips, parties, and animals, especially her pets. A sweet lady, her home was always open to others. She was always in your corner and was quick to give you a hug. A mom to everyone, her laugh was contagious, and she loved to tell inside jokes to get others to laugh. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Eachen of Churubusco, Ind., Jennifer (favorite son-in-law, Taylor) Lansaw of Fort Wayne, Courtney Semler of Churubusco, Ind., and Katelynn Semler of Fort Wayne; and former husband and best friend, Doug Eachen of Arcola, Ind. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Luann Grein. A Celebration of Life is 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Lakeside Park, Pavilion #1, 1401 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
