Genetta E. "Jan" Wiggin

Genetta E. "Jan" Wiggin, 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Genetta was born on December 23, 1936 in Dunedin, Florida, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Buis. She graduated from Largo High School. She worked at home caring for her family and home. She attended Avalon Missionary Church and greatly loved the Lord. She also loved her family very much. Surviving family include her children, Doug (Gina) Wiggin, Julie Crandall, and Beki Angelo; grandchildren, Robert (Kandy), Thomas, Carmen, Rachel (Jeremy), Matthew (Lauren), Joshua (Stacey), Rebekah (Noah), Seth, Luke (Alabama), Malarie (James), Micalah (Ty), and Jacob (Karly); and 18 great-grandchildren; and sister, Loujette. Besides her parents, Jan was preceded in passing by her husband, George Wiggin; daughters, Jennifer, Kay, and Ann; sisters, Louzette and Loulette; and brother, Luther. Funeral service will be 6:00 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 4:00 pm.
