George Mike M. (Mike) McCutcheon

George M. “Mike” McCutcheon, 83, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010. He was born on May 3, 1927 to the late Orla E. and Teresa (Gavin) McCutcheon. He attended St. Therese Catholic Church and served in the Navy during World War II. He worked and retired as a plumber for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 166 where he was a lifetime member. Surviving family include his wife of 60 years, Marietta C. (Ehinger) McCutcheon; children, Thomas M. (Kay) McCutcheon of Ft. Wayne, James E. McCutcheon of Henderson, NV, Michael G. (Tammy) McCutcheon of Pleasant Lake, IN, Catherine A. (Dennis) Tuttle of Ft. Wayne, Mary T. (Greg) Sorg of Ft. Wayne; siblings, Bernadine Rice of Ft. Wayne, Orla E. McCutcheon of Naperville, IL; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday September 25, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Ft. Wayne with calling one hour prior to services. Calling hours will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Klaehn-Fahl-Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel. A rosary service will take place at 7:30 PM. Burial will take plaec at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Father David Ruppert will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masses.
