Nécrologie de George Gutierrez Sanchez
George Gutierrez Sanchez, age 92, of Flower Mound, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. George was born in Fillmore, CA at 5:30 a.m. in the morning. He was the eldest of two children born from the marriage of Juan Sanchez and Guadalupe Baladez. George was married to Carmen. They had five children (Lupe, Paula, George Jr., Betty, and John), two grandchildren (Jenna and David), and a great grandchild (Corbin). Looking at all of the pictures from his children and grand kids, you can see that he participated in everyone's life. What an amazing man and legacy being able to spend over 70+ years with his adult children. He was only one person, but he gave of himself fully to everyone. THINGS ABOUT DAD: Dad was a(n) * godly man that taught us to love God. He was a great father that led by example. As a brother, husband, and father, he taught us to be honest, humble, and responsible. * hard working man, working sometimes up to 3 jobs. He taught us to work and strive to do better. * man of conviction. He wrote published articles in the newspaper about things that were important to him. * man that was calm, cool, and had a humble demeanor. * "Amazing Man" who supported 5 children. He overcame and persevered despite his health issues. * rock that spent every day hustling to make a life for us! Growing up * we went on many family vacations, camping, and to Pokagon Lake. * we went and participated in church. Although he could not sing, he would sing anyway. Dad loved * the Lord, mom, and his children. * drinking and stirring his coffee, as well as eating breakfast for lunch. * watching Gunsmoke and eating pork chops or catfish. * watching hummingbirds, birds, and movies at the theater. * walking at the mall and reading the newspaper. * sweet things (apple and pumpkin pie, conchas, strawberries, and blueberries). Favorite Expressions/Comments: * "That's ridiculous" * "I'm ok, everything is okay" * "All the good shows are on at night" * when eating Chinese food, "Give me a little rice, so that it looks like Chinese food" * "I know how to fall" (and he did) Private Services where held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 in Fort Wayne, Indiana
