GERALD A. "JOE" JENKINS, 74, of Fort Wayne, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Parkview Hospital. Born March 27, 1937, in Fort Wayne, he married his wife of 52 years, Juanita on March 23, 1959, she survives. Also surviving are a son, Ronald Jenkins; daughter, Rita (Daniel) Olivo; grandchildren, Brett Lay, Vincente Olivo, Joshua Olivo, and A.J. (Megan) Olivo; sisters, Carol Helten and Sharon Rothgeb; and brother, Jack Jenkins. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 North Wells Street. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
