Gregory Allen Christlieb

Gregory Allen Christlieb, age 60 passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Gregory was born on July 19th, 1962 to Victor and Joyce Christlieb in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After graduating from Paul Harding High School in 1980 he went on to join the Navy. After leaving the Navy, he went on to start his own business doing light shows for bands, later to do roofing at Reese Wholesale, and in his final years he became a truck driver who traveled nearly 2 million miles. In 1992, he met Heidi, and they wed in 1993, going on to have 4 children, Dustin, Dylan, Daniel and Derrick. Gregory was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His boys meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of all of his sons and always tried his best to support them. Gregory was also a passionate gold prospecting and fishing and could often be found lake side when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Gregory knew that he was the most loving and proud father his children could have asked for. Gregory was predeceased by his parents Edwin Victor Christlieb and Joyce Christlieb. He is survived by his sons Dustin, Dylan, Daniel, Derrick, Eli Owen Gross and by his siblings Kim Christlieb-Harris & George, Matt Christlieb, Tim and Jamey Christlieb. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Gregory’s home. There will be a celebration of life at Gregory's home on July 30th, 1:00pm. A shattering of ashes in a viking style funeral will tentatively be held at Story Lake on August 6th.
