He retired from Federal Express, and was an avid golfer, fisherman, and proud grandfather.
Dee is survived by his brother, Pat (Nancy) Murray; children, Lisa (Gary) Knepper and Sean (Christi) Murray; grandchildren, Brandi (Sean) McMillen, Leah and Will Murray, and great-grandchildren, Emme Grace and Declan McMillen.
A memorial visitation will be held at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Maplewood Park, located at 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46815, on December 18, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
A second memorial visitation will take place at the same location on December 19, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a memorial service starting at 3:00 pm.
