Gwendolyn Piercy Holman, 68, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Parkview Hospital. Born April 16, 1949 in Griffin, GA., she was a daughter of Lillie (Shoats) Piercy and the late Marvin Piercy Sr. A graduate of Fairmont High School, Griffin, GA, Gwendolyn was employed with Dundee Mills for over 20 years and was a member of the Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church, Fort Wayne. She enjoyed gardening and staying busy with family and friends. She is also survived by her husband, Arthur Holman of Fort Wayne; children, Angela (Thaddeus McGee) Henderson of Fort Wayne, Shantil (Aaron) Triplett of Eaton, Ind., Arthur (Barbie) Holman of Brent, AL., and Andre G. Holman of St. Louis, MO; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Vickey Piercy of Jonesboro, GA., Kenneth (Patti) Piercy of Griffin, GA., Marian (Emmett) Jefferson of Milner, GA., Mack Piercy of Griffin, GA., Husian Aleem of Griffin, GA., Terry Andrews of Griffin, GA., and Betty Jo (Jimmy) Mathis of Rochester, NY; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial Service will be 11am on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church, 520 E. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Rev.
