Phyllis and Family--Hal taught New Hire Orientation when I started at Parkview in 1993.  I'll never forget him teaching me how to answer the phone while smiling!  What a sweet and special man.  My prayers are with you all.

Hal made a big impression on me as I was taking classes at IPFW with him as my instructor.  He later worked with my wife at Parkview.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

I did not know Hal very long or very well.  We met at Parkview Health & Fitness and enjoyed talking with each other while working out.  When I saw that he had passed I was saddened and pray for his family and other loved ones.  You have lost a man with a kind and gentle spirit!

I am saddened to hear the news of Hal's passing, but joyous to know he is at peace and with his savior. It has been a pleasure to know both Hal and Phyllis and I will keep Phyllis and her family in my prayers.  I am out of town and sorry that I cannot attend the visitation or services.

Using his gifts for the good of others and in serving God was a hallmark of Hal's life.  I was privileged to have Hal and Phyllis as part of the kitchen team that prepared and served concessions to hungry Bible quizzers, coaches, and families at their monthly meets.  Such good times serving and sharing together in the kitchen!  I only wish I'd known Hal earlier in his life and seen him in action wearing more of his many "hats".  Praying for you, Phyllis, and the family, knowing God's grace will surround you as you walk through these and the days to come.  You are loved.

I was blessed to have the Vizinos as neighbors for many years. As I cut through Wenonah Lane on my various travels I inevitably think of two things; my grandmother and The Vizinos. My thoughts and prayers go to Mrs. Vizino, Chad and Maree and their children and Curt.

Hal was a very sweet man, with a gentle spirit.  He was patient and kind. I was the receptionist at English Hall and I would help Hal with orientation things and we would laugh because everytime he would ask me to do something I would respond with "I already did it".  We were like to peas in a pod.  He taught me a lot..about people and myself. I took med terminology with him and still use it to this day.  He was a good friend, co worker, teacher and an all round amazing person...you will be missed, but you will go on in the hearts of everyone you touched...go in peace my friend...I'll catch up later.

A man of great and deep faith has now met his Lord face to face. I can imagine only dimly the great joy he experiences now in Heaven. He was my best friend,always praying for me, and always concerned about my every need.Through him, I was led even closer to the Lord, which was his goal for everyone he met. I will miss him greatly, as will his loving wife and sons! May the Lord be especially near to you, Phyllis, Chad, and Curt,as you journey through this trial.

Hal was one of the first persons I met when I joined Parkview. He made orientation interesting and fun. In the years following, we had many wonderful conversations. Hal loved life and shared his excitement with everyone he met. I would have loved to be one of his grandchildren. What fun that would have been.
