Henry Walker Jr.

Henry Walker Jr., 85, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his residence in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born in Uniontown, Alabama to the late Henry and Joanna Walker. He was a past member of Mt. Olive Doctor’s Church as a child. He is survived by his companion/confidant, Margaret Hampton; Daughters: Joann George (Cleveland Ohio) Deloris Brooks, Brooksnell Walker, Barbara Walker, Marilyn Walker, and Patricia Freeman, all of Fort Wayne, In, RuthAnn Walker of Alabama. Sons: (Godson) Sam Walker (Shay) Mac Walker-Jackson of Fort Wayne In, Henry Walker III of Alabama, and Charles Freeman, Jade Sims of Fort Wayne In. Henry leaves twenty grandchildren, forty grandchildren, Georgiana Brooks (His Movie Star Niece) of Fort Wayne In, Sibilings: Florence Green, Poly Walker-Smith all of Michigan. Brothers: Robert Smith-Walker of Fort Wayne In, William Walker and all those he held dearly in his heart. Henry was also proceeded in death by 18 siblings. Funeral service Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:30 am with calling from 9:30 to 11:30 am prior to the service at Oakridge Temple Church of God & Christ, 2808 Evans Street Fort Wayne, IN 46806.
