Ilif & Kenneth Bruns

KENNETH, passed away on Oct. 20, 2014. He was born Sept 17, 1924 in Ft Wayne Indiana and graduated from Northside High School in Ft Wayne & went directly into the army, serving in WWII. His lifelong career was in photography. He Owned and operated Bruns Photo at Lake James, Angola IN. After moving to Ft Wayne, worked in management at Howards Photo Lab and retired from McJon Photo as H.R. manager. He enjoyed cameras, boating & fishing.

Preceding him in death are his parents William C. & Josephine A. (Rayhouser) Bruns; brothers Ralph and Donald Bruns.

ILIF passed away Oct. 15, 2014. She was born Nov 28, 1929 in Steuben County, Indiana and graduated from Metz School near Angola, Indiana. She was an accomplished cake decorator, also enjoyed candy making and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her sisters Gloria (husband Norman) Clark, Charlene (Carl) Bachelor, Gwyn (Dale) Case and brothers Larry, Jerry (Kathleen) and Garry (Faye) Musser.

Preceding her in death are her parents Ardnel and Ruby (Walters) Musser; brother Norris Musser; sisters Yovonne (Weldon) Schaffter & Beverly (Bill) Proehl.

Both Ken & Ilif were exceptionally kind and loving parents. They enjoyed get-togethers with family, music, antique collecting, and many years of lake life.

They are survived by daughter Diane (Bob) Freeman, son Neal (Shannon) Bruns, granddaughters Aubree Bruns & Samantha Bruns; great-grandchildren Ava, Halle & Jackson & many nieces and nephews.
