

Jack A. Fox, 88, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017. He was born on January 14, 1929 in South Whitley, IN, the son of the late Harold and Imogene Fox. Jack retired from the Post Office after 42 years, he always loved his job. He loved his woodworking shop, making and finishing such beautiful furniture, which fills his home today. Jack loved his family and the many trips to the beach in Florida they would take. He also enjoyed the river boat and many cruises. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Margaret Fox; children, Rita Ann (Mike) Koontz, Ava Lynn (Albin) Walker, Jeffery A (Laura) Fox; grandchildren, Matthew (Maggie) Koogler, Ryan Koogler, Alan (Jenna) Walker, Jeremy (Jen) Walker, and Tyler Fox; great-grandchildren, Matt McKee, Jonas Koogler, Christopher Koogler, Brianna Walker, Alexa Walker, Leicea Walker, Jace Walker, and Jaxson Walker; and sister, Ann Pate. He was preceded in death by his brother David Fox. A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday June 14, 2017 at St. Joe United Methodist Church 6004 Reed Road Fort Wayne, IN 46835 with Pastor Russ Abel and Pastor Christi Murray officiating, with calling 1 hour prior. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN 46815 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, IN. So many thanks to all the many people at Heritage of Fort Wayne that made the last 3 months of his, and our families lives comfortable and also to Heartland Hospice that were with us the last 2 weeks. Especially to Karen Greulach who was there to the end on her own time. Also to all the wonderful friends and family and pastors who made our journey at the end so much easier, to God be the glory.
