Jack Lee Lamle

Jack Lee Lamle, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on May 14th, 2024. He was born February 12, 1930 in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of John D. Lamle and Bernice Steller. He retired in 1987 as manager of his Insurance Agency in Atlanta, GA, after 22 years. He was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, American Legion, and The Korean War Veterans Association. He served in Korea until 8/52 with the Air Force as a weatherman. Surviving are his 2 daughters, Kathi (James) Stopher, and Karin (Eric) Marrero; grandchildren, Caroline, Patrick (Skeeter), Zoe, and Laura (Patrick): great-grandchildren Beatrix, Maxwell, and Rosy; and his former wife & best friend, Hassie Elizabeth Damiano. Preceded in death by his only brother, Dewey Jr., and his wife of 44 years, Mary Anne. Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, May 19, 2024, at D.O. McComb, Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial, with military honors will be 10:00 am Monday, May 20, 2024, at Pleasant Chapel Cemetery, 880 E 1100 N, Roanoke, IN 46783.
