Jackie Denise Bice-Reyes

Jackie Denise Bice-Reyes, aged 59, passed away on January 5, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on November 18, 1965, Jackie dedicated much of her life to managing several area restaurants and caring for her family as a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Francisco Reyes of Fort Wayne, IN; her sons, Nathaniel L. Bailey and his wife Tiffany of Gadsden, SC, Jared L. Bailey of Lock Haven, PA, Eddie Reyna Jr. and his wife Brittney, and Rico L. Reyna and his significant other Ashley, all of Fort Wayne, IN. Jackie’s joy was further multiplied by her special grandson, Josiah, and her six grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Richard L. Bice and his wife Quanda of Weatherford, TX; nieces Rachael, Amanda, Courtney, and Nia; and nephew Richard Jr. Her extended family includes cousins Walter L. Young Jr. and his wife Stacey of Lutz, FL, Lisa A. Brittain of Fort Wayne, IN, Rane Helderman, Billy E. Stanker, Maria L. Powers, and David E. Stanker, all of Lawrenceville, IL, and her aunt, Mary A. Stanker of Lawrenceville, IL. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Maria E. Bice-Harmeyer, and her father, Dennis J. Adams.

Jackie attended Riley Elementary and graduated from Lawrenceville High School. Her love for festivals shone brightly, especially during her favorite time of year, Christmas. She was a faithful member of the Calvary Temple Baptist Church. Jackie’s life was one of vibrant community involvement, cherished family bonds, and heartfelt service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Jackie will be laid to rest at The Independent Order of Oddfellows Cemetery -- 1109 Hartzell Rd, New Haven, IN 46774.
