

Jacquelin Ann Walborn, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Fair Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in South Beloit, Wisconsin. Jacquelin was born April 21, 1925 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Alvin G. Morris and Thelma Stone Morris. She graduated from Huntington High School in Huntington, West Virginia in 1943. She then enlisted in the United States Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II. She graduated from Parkview Methodist Nursing School in 1946. She married John Marion Walborn, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1947.She was a classy lady, her caring heart and love for the ocean was shared by her family. She loved vacations in Siesta Key, Florida, laying on the beach, loved the ocean and searching for shells. When she would return home with her shells, she would make beautiful crafts with them and sell them at craft shows and bazaars or give them away as gifts. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Stone Morris, her Father Alvin G. Morris, her husband, John M. Walborn, Jr., her daughter, Audree L Dean, and her great grand daughter, Katie A. Baker. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl A. (Richard) Hageman of Nashville, Tennessee, Lori A. (Jon) Schlemmer of Roscoe, Illinois, and her sons, John M. (Diana) Walborn of Plano, Texas, Jeffery H. (Jana) Walborn of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Kurt A. (Lisa) Walborn of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great grandchildren and along with Mark (Elizabeth) Bloom: Emily and Maddie of Fort Wayne. The visitation time is scheduled from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 West Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana with Pastor Kathleen Haller officiating. Memorials are requested to made to Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary, 111 North 1st Street, Rockford, Illinois 61107 where her granddaughter, Grace Schlemmer volunteers. Arrangements by D.O.
