James Titus Easley

James Titus Easley, age 45, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away quietly at home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. He was a son of Connie Herrick Easley and the late David J. Easley born on September 5, 1979.

After graduation of high school, James attended Ball State University and received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev. Mike Nickleson and later joined Grace United Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Guy Willis.

"Pooh Bear" or "Pooh" as most knew him was an avid Seattle Seahawks Fan, gamer of (John Madden) Xbox and loved to play football.

He loved his family and was loved by all.

Pooh Bear will be greatly missed by his loving mother, Connie Easley; brothers, Joshua (Dawn) Conner and De'Ante Herrick; sisters, Tami (Kyle) Lawrence and Angela Herrick, his canine friend "Mellow"; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

James was also preceded in death by his sister, Twana Easley; grandparents and other family members.

Service is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Avenue (46807) with visitation at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Guy Willis, officiating.

Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
