James Cameron Fyfe

Jamie graduated from South Side High School in 1979. He was a loyal employee to Local 20 Sheet Metal Union where he worked for 35 years prior to his retirement. Jamie was still an avid pool player in the V.N.E.A. league for over 30 years. He also spent time fishing, gardening, golfing. He liked sports, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears were his favorite teams and went to multiple games. He attended many concerts over the years, so much so that he had been working part time as a stage hand at Local 146.

He was a sweet, goofy guy who did things in his own unique way. He was a loyal and devoted father, brother and friend; often dropping whatever he was doing to help anybody who needed a hand.

Jamie is survived by his children, Catherine M. Fyfe and Cameron J. Fyfe both of Fort Wayne, IN along with brothers, David (Mary) Fyfe, Douglas (Debra) Fyfe, Patrick Fyfe, and Michael (Susan) Fyfe and many nieces and nephews.

Please join us for a memorial gathering held from 2:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, April 11, 2026, located at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Children Research Hospital.
