

James “Jim” William Little, Jr. was born on February 20, 1953, in Richmond, Indiana. He passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Wayne, surrounded by his loving family, on December 15, 2025, at the age of 72.
Jim graduated from Northeastern High School in 1971 before going on to obtain a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in Construction Management. He worked in homeowner claims for State Farm Insurance from 1978, eventually becoming a training supervisor for National Catastrophe Teams before he retired in 2015.
Jim was very active in church, serving as a deacon and crisis counselor as well as working in various children’s ministries. He also served for many years on the board of Widow's Jar Ministries.
Jim always enjoyed working with his hands and, more than anything, spending time with his family. He often combined both things by helping his children remodel their own homes
Jim was known by all for his genuine kindness, humility, compassion, sense of humor and love for others. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, which was displayed in how he loved his wife and children.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vicki (Butler) Little; children, Billy (Jenny) Little, Marcus (Aliya) Little, Hannah (Jim) Watson; grandchildren, Annelise Little, Adelyn Little, Amelia Little, William Little, Jameson Little, Aureleigh Little, Ailee Little, Alayna Little, Mary Little, Benjamin Watson, Kate Watson; sister, Jackie (Gene) Webb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Agnes Little.
Visitation will start at 9:00 am on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Coventry Baptist Church, 10926 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46814, followed immediately by funeral service at 10:30 am. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
