

James “Harry” McCloud, age 77, peacefully passed away Monday, January 20, 2025. Born March 6, 1947 at home in Putnam County, Tennessee to parents Walter Parks and Sara Beulah (Short) Parks, Harry was a cherished father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many.
Harry was a dedicated fan of the Chicago Bears, with a passion for the team that was matched only by his love for his family and friends. He found immense joy in sharing his enthusiasm for the Bears with others, always ready to discuss the latest game. His spirit and infectious smile will be lovingly missed at every game day gathering.
In later years, Harry became an admired member of Salem Manor, where he was known to lend a helping hand to both staff and fellow residents, often working maintenance with his close friend Chad. His acts of kindness, large and small, made a lasting impact on everyone around him, and his commitment to his community will never be forgotten.
Harry is survived by his daughters, Tina (Jerry) Seiker of Beavercreek, Ohio, Michelle (David Lee) Minick of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Teresa Tomlin of Fairborn, Ohio, Amanda McCloud of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; special friend, Cora Bowers of Dayton, Ohio; and best friend, Eddie Vires.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sara Parks; wife, Sandra J. McCloud; and siblings, Walter Parks, Michael Parks, Roy McCloud, Bobby Parks, and Sheila Parks.
Visitation for Harry will be held Monday, January 27 at 11:30AM at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home 1327 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46808. A funeral service will follow visitation at 1:30PM. He will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery. All who attend services for Harry are encouraged by the family to wear Chicago Bears and casual attire.
