James C. Morton

James C. Morton, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in Fort Wayne surrounded by his family. "JC" was born in Mansfield, OH to the late Maurice and Mary Morton. He was a Notre Dame graduate, class of 1957, and later owned his own business, J.C. Morton & Associates. J.C. will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and most importantly great-grandfather. He will be missed by his children, Mary Ann (Tim) Slater, Sheila Hoelderle, and James Morton; grandchildren, Sam (Lauren), Zachary, Jacob, Thomas, Jorden, Jack, and Hannah; and 5 great-grandchildren. J.C. was preceded in death by his beloved wife, H. Carroll Morton; daughter, Kathleen Klingenberger; sister, Ruth Morton; sister-in-law, Nancy McNulty; and brother-in-law, George Binder. Mass of Christian Burial is 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr., with calling one hour prior. Calling also at D. O.
