My family lost our father, James Anthony Riczo, on Sat June 17th, 2023, he was the sweetest, kindest man and an amazing father. He loved us all and didn't see our faults or care about them. He was always there to help no matter the problem. We will miss watching and talking about sports or birds with our dad. He played basketball at Marion College and enjoyed bowling, fishing, and golfing. In his later life he enjoyed gardening and feeding and watching birds and watching basketball, football and golf on TV.
James was born 12/20/1940 to Antonia "Babe" and John Riczo in Indianapolis. They raised him and his older brother John there and were surrounded by their many families and friends. He was married for 20 years to Mary Virginia Blackburn, and they remained friends and family throughout their life. He worked as an Insurance claims adjuster until retiring. He was preceded by his parents and infant son Steven Aruthur his sister-in-law Rosemary Riczo.
He leaves behind his brother John Riczo, his children Jeanne (Mark) McDonald, Joan Dickson (Tom Ladig), Julie (Rich) Dudkowski, Anthony (Karen) Riczo, and his grandchildren, Sara Cartwright, David Rice, Ben McDonald, Kate McDonald, Aaron Dudkowski, Jon Dudkowski, Tyler Riczo and Brynna Riczo.
