Jamien H. Gibson

Jamien H. Gibson was born July 27, 1979 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was the fourth child born to the union of Anna Gibson and James Gibson. At the age of 45, he passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.

He accepted Christ at the age of 12 and was baptized at True Love Missionary Baptist Church by the late Bishop Jesse White.

Jamien attended Fort Wayne Community Schools before taking on the responsibility of caring for his grandmother, Geraldine Haynes.

He had a passion for playing pool. He loved it so much that he joined the APA Pool League and traveled to various tournaments to compete.

Jamien had a fun and loving spirit. He enjoyed being around his family and making people laugh. In his spare time he loved reading books.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Geraldine Haynes; and two brothers, Gary Crawley and Damien Gibson.

He leaves to cherish his memory his one and only beloved sister, LaTonya Haynes; one aunt, Mary W. Johnson; five nieces, Shaquayia Crawley, Keira Gibson, LaDiamond Crawley, Gazhelle Gibson and Justice Crawley; three nephews, Dewayne Ford, JaMarion Crawley and Jaiceon Crawley along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Jamien's life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, February 22, 2025 at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Foster Park, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46807 with a visitation starting at 10:00 am.
