She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1952, and earned her bachelor's degree from St. Francis College in 1956.
Jane taught school at Precious Blood Catholic School for one year before starting her family. She was a volunteer at Catholic Charities.
She is survived by her children, Christopher (Christine) Smith, Clay (Marie) Smith both of Fort Wayne, IN, and Carla (Ralph Allen) Gordon of Roanoke, IN; son-in-law, Mark Robertson of Fort Wayne; siblings, Joe (Tat) Noll of MI, Judith Steiner of IL, Julie Snyder of Fort Wayne, and John (Clare) Noll of Indianapolis, IN; and grandchildren, David, Cassi, Nichole, Stefanni, Brooke, Levi, Ethyn, and Kayla.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Smith in 2004; daughter, Caren Robertson, 2024; siblings, Bill Noll, Joan Lauer, Jim Noll, Julian Noll and Jackie LeBlanc.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with visitation one hour prior. Committal and burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, or Bishop Dwenger High School.
