Jason Lee Bloomfield

Jason Lee Bloomfield, a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend that loved life to its fullest. He was born on April 14, 1985 and grew up to be a compassionate and kind-hearted person. He departed this life at the age of 38, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from injuries sustained in an accident.

After graduation he gained employment at several businesses, but had lastly worked as a pipefitter before becoming disabled. "Bowzee" "Jay Lee" or "Gus" as many knew him, loved Tattoos and Tatting, collecting knives, food and Gummy Worms, wrestling and baseball. Many family recalls how he was always well organized and how he enjoyed organizing family events. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and love for his children and family. We can't forget that he adopted a few Geese and a Bat that he cared for up to his passing.

Jason was a well kept, tidy organized person. He had a great love for his parents. We all will remember and cherish all the hugs that he gave and his love for his non-biological granny Sylvia.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Casey Joseph Chowning; maternal grandmother, Barbara J. Kessler; and paternal grandmother, Catherine Johnson.

Jason leaves to cherish his memories to his loving daughters, Alexis Hope Bloomfield and Jaelynn Kay Dean; mother, Kimberely (Michael D.) Perry; father, Jason Scott (Denise) Bloomfield; brothers, Christopher Bloomfield and Zachary Bloomfield; stepsisters, Kristie Perry and Brittanie Perry; stepbrother, Michael Ryan Perry; nieces, Skylan Chandler and Adelene Longly; nephews, Caleb Burning, Gavin Longly, Corvin Longly and Christopher Junior Bloomfield aunts. Teri Shanamon, Lori Baker, Cathy Lee and Sarah Parlow; uncles,David Wyatt and Steve "Corkey" Neer; a host of cousins and friends.

A visitation for Jason will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with a funeral service Celebrating Jason's Life at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
