Jason E. Wolfe, 98, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on July 27, 1927, son of the late Fred and Frances (Hoffman) Wolfe. Jason was a pastor for over 30 years and was one of the founding members of the Southwest Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodworking, creating intarsia woodwork, and spreading the word of God. Jason also had a passion for golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Mark (Marsha) Wolfe, Barry (Christy) Wolfe, Dennis (Marty) Wolfe, Bruce (Susan) Wolfe, and Jolene Leinbaugh; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Jason was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Wolfe; son, Matthew Wolfe; sisters, Eleanor, Pauline, Betty, and Mary Catherine; and son-in-law, Jim Leinbaugh. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Southwest Church of Christ, 5500 Ardmore Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809, with visitation one hour prior. Contributions in Jason's memory may be made to Southwest Church of Christ or the Woodburn Christian Children's Home.
