Jean Frances Pelis

Jean F. Pelis, 92, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. She retired from General Telephone / GTE as an Executive Secretary. She volunteered at the Embassy Theatre. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Pelis; grandchildren, David, Dawn and Daniel Pelis; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Pelis. Service is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Trinity English Lutheran Church, 450 W. Washington Blvd., with visitation one hour prior. Preferred memorials are to the church. Burial in Oaklawn Cemetery, Ossian, Indiana. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home.
