Jeffery Allen Banks

Jeffery “Mick” Allen Banks, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2020 at his home. Born June 27, 1949 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Jeff Banks and Imogene (Barth) Lewis. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He also retired as a welder from Lincoln Food Service. He loved fishing, camping, bowling, and watching old westerns. He also loved spending time with all of his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Noreen Kay Banks of Fort Wayne; sons, Jeffery (Kim) Banks and Michael (Jennifer) Banks; grandchildren, John (Nikki) Jokoty, Jesse Jokoty, Stephen, Zach (Aimee), Alex (Fanta), Breanna, Taylor, Kaylee, Ryleigh, Olivia, and Chase Banks, and Lexy Sutherland; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Wysong and Brenda Johnson; sister-in-law, Robin Stuckman; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more family members. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Nancy; brother, Don; and great-granddaughter, Grace Michelle. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
