Jennifer Rose Slade, aged 52, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on August 28, 1972, in Winchester, Indiana, Jennifer was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a graduate of Jay County High School. On January 1, 2020, Jennifer would go on to marry the love of her life, Christa Ann Hofstetter.
Jennifer’s love, laughter, and touch of mischief will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who cared for her. She was a force of nature, with a quick wit and unwavering spirit. During the summer, she enjoyed spending her weekends camping at Paradise Point. The crackle of the campfire, riding around on the golf cart, and having a blast playing Bingo with her friends and family are just some of the few memories made that will always be remembered fondly. Above all else, Jennifer treasured her family. Her grandkids would light up her world, and she would always greet them with a warmth and comfort that will never be forgotten. Jennifer loved giving her kids a hard time, or “mothering,” as she was always known for saying.
Jennifer is survived by her wife, Christa Ann Hofstetter; children, Dustan (Emily Loredo) Slade and Samara (Rene Robles) Slade; grandchildren, Nevaeh Petty, Layla Stephen, Cameron Stephen, Arlo Robles, and Beverly Robles; siblings, James Coblentz, Lori Dunlap, Lydia Jarrett, Net Coblentz, and Jerry Coblentz; and in-laws, Shelly Rines and Calvin Hofstetter. Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents Beverly and Jack McCune.
Jennifer will be deeply missed by all the lives she has touched. Family and friends can share memories and condolences to advantagemungovan.com.
