Jesse Sosa Almanza, age 39, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. Jesse was born May 4, 1981 in Janesville, WI to Amalia Sosa Monterroso and Jesus Almanza. Jesse enjoyed a variety of employment opportunities including installing flooring, radio personality aka "Spitfire" at 107.9, sales and marketing. He was extremely talented. He had a job that allowed him to connect to people; people were his passion. Jesse had a long list of talents starting at an early age. He could speak to your soul with just a sentence or a few lyrics. He spoke/spit his truth and wanted everyone to know just how genuine he really was. Additional hobbies included cooking, traveling, free styling, drawing, hanging out with friends, playing video games, DJ/entertaining, billiards, telling stories, and writing lyrics for songs. Jesse is survived by his son, Makaio Nathan Almanza; father, Jesus Almanza; siblings Vanessa Sosa (Brent) Schlosser, Daniel Rodriguez, Jonathan Almanza, Michael Miguel Almanza, Stacy Almanza and Carlos (Traci) Almanza; as well as nieces and nephew, Scarlet Sosa Schlosser, Marissa Almanza and Alexander Almanza. Jesse was preceded in death by his mother, Amalia Sosa Monterroso. A funeral service for Jesse will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at The River Church, 1515 Magnavox Way, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, with visitation prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Preferred Memorials are to Makaio's college trust fund in care of Vanessa Schlosser at https://gofund.me/1a0f0c6f.
