Jesse James Ladd, 76, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully, on November 28, 2023, at the hospice unit of Parkview Randallia Hospital. Jesse was born in Sewanee, TN to Martha and Oscar Ladd; he was apart of a very large family. Jesse worked as an independent mechanic, as he had a love for cars and trucks and loved to help people. He gained many friends and clientele due to his honesty, direct personality and fair prices.
Jesse is survived by his children: daughters Theresa (Darryl) Trotter, Michelle Ladd, Jennifer Ladd, Lynnett McDannald; sons, John Ladd, Matthew Ladd, Travis Ladd; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and other family and friends, including his best friend, Albert Woodberry.
Jesse is preceded in death by his mother, father, and many other family members and friends. Jesse wished to be cremated.
