Joan was married for 55 years to Jim Lee Binkley who passed away in 2012. She was a long-time member of the Harvester Avenue Missionary Church, where she served as church secretary for 25 years. Joan was a selfless servant of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She loved to read her Bible, cook, play Scrabble and other table games.
She is survived by her four sons, Daniel (Richele) Binkley, David (Nancy) Binkley, Warren Binkley, and Monty (Christine) Binkley; two brothers, Thomas (Bonnie) Felger, and Ned (Ruby) Felger; 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Thurman Gumm, and two brothers, Donald Felger and Glenn Felger.
Funeral services for Joan Binkley will be held on Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home- Lakeside, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805, with calling one hour prior. Rev. Bob Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Eel River Cemetery.
