JOHN GONZALEZ, 50, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital. Born April 20, 1960, in Fort Wayne, he was the son of Charley B. Gonzalez and Esperansa (Salas) Gonzalez. Also surviving are his daughters, Ceci Rolf and Andrea Gonzalez; sons, Johnny Gonzalez Jr. and Thomas Gomez; brothers, Charley (Ester) Gonzalez, Gilbert (Trina) Gonzalez and Steve (Maria) Gonzalez; sisters, Delia (Jim) Mills, Linda Gonzalez and Amy Mendez; and grandchildren, Aviana, Cruz, Micah, and Neysa. He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Gomez. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
