John E. “Jac” Wilkinson, 94, of Fort Wayne passed away, Monday, February 10, 2025, at Story Point Retirement Home in Fort Wayne. Jac was born September 4, 1930, in Fort Wayne to Joseph and Veronica (Miller) Wilkinson. He married Phyllis A. Waldrop. After graduating from High School, Jac would serve in The United States Air Force during the Korean war. He was the owner of The Cutting House in Kendallville, IN until his retirement. Jac was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Fort Wayne Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family, He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; three children, Michele Beemer, Todd (Holly) Wilkinson and Lisa Jacobs; five grandchildren, Sarah Beemer, Gordon Beemer, Ashley Beemer, Greg (Destina) Jacobs and Nic Jacobs and two great grandchildren, Ayla and Aston. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
