John Henry Lyon

John H. Lyon, 95, of Fort Wayne, passed away on January 16, 2016. Born on May 1, 1920, on Bryan Hill, near Emporium, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Emporium High School, Emporium, Pennsylvania in 1938. John resided in Fort Wayne, for 77 years before going to Heaven on January 16, 2016. He is survived by his daughter Linda (Harold) Spenn; grandson, Michael and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lorraine (Beineke) Lyon; four sisters, one brother; and granddaughter, Michella.

Funeral service will be 1:30pm Saturday, January 23, at Klaehn, Fahl and Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, with calling from 10:30am until time of service. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 729 West Washington Blvd, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802.
