John F. Money, 65, passed away on January 18, 2026. Born on December 21, 1960, in Lima, Ohio, to parents Jack and Susan (Hedges) Money, John was beloved by so many. John proudly served in the United States Army for four years.
A Godly man, John was loving, giving, and hardworking. His life was guided by faith and kindness. He was a devout member of Broadway Christian Church. Family meant everything to him, and few things brought him more joy than time spent with them. He delighted in taking his grandchildren on adventures filled with laughter, stories, and the unmistakable riffs of his favorite rock music playing through the speakers of his car on drives. Those moments, simple yet full of love, are memories that will be treasured forever. In his free time, he enjoyed relaxing in front of the television, especially when sports were on. He could always be found cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes or the Miami Dolphins. Above all, he will be remembered for his steady presence, his strong work ethic, and the love he freely gave. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the faith he shared, and the family he cherished so deeply. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
Surviving John are his children, Latasha (AJ) Rybolt, Courtney (Dillion) Marsee, Megan (John) Niver, Cody Money; 19 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Aaron, Danny, Jackie, Donna, Judy, Carry, Mandy; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Vicky Hemsoth.
