John Roth, 70, of Carmel, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 29, 1955, a son of the late John G. and Norene (Devlin) Roth. John worked at Southwest Allen County Schools for over 32 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of Peace United Church of Christ for over 45 years. John enjoyed winning bingo and watching Homestead High School basketball and football games. He was also a diehard IU basketball fan.
John is survived by his sister, Lisa (David) Horan; four nieces; two nephews; and three great-nephews. He was also preceded in passing by his sister, Cheryle Rose. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819. With a graveside service to be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6750 Covington Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Salvation Army, or the American Heart Association.
